The ultimate Villa for memories to last a lifetime

When modernising Villa Phoenix recently we retained many of the original features but we built the pool from scratch, redesigned it's terraces and undertook extensive replanting in the garden. Accordingly, Villa Phoenix has one of the largest pools in the Algarve at 16 by 8m with terraces and gardens to really enjoy and relax in.

The gardens have two lawns; the front lawn to let the kids play on whilst enjoying a morning cuppa knowing that their access to the pool is via a lockable gate and the lower lawn adjacent the pool terrace for those lazy days of bowls or frenetic games of badminton being just a quick jump to cool down in the pool.

The gardens also include a custom built barbecue nestled under the shade of olive trees with a large dining table and on-site drinks fridge. Overlooking the lower lawn, many a lunch has been spent barbecuing a feast and then a siesta overseeing the serious competitions of football or cricket.

The pool terrace is set lower than the living areas of the villa. Accordingly, with wheel chair users and buggy users in mind, we built a gentle path from the front door to the pool terrace to allow full access for all.

The villa manager (originally English) lives on-site in a separate self-contained apartment. Your privacy is ensured and many guests have found this arrangment to be very useful in being on hand to provide recommendations, make bookings and to assist with those holiday emergencies we hope you never experience.

A really notable feature of Villa Phoenix are the extensive views over the countryside giving great privacy and amazing evenings watching the sunset from either the front terrace or comfortable sitting room. Complete your day by falling asleep in one of our English sized beds, this the centrepiece of your themed bedroom - Egyptian, Moroccan, African or Chinese.
