We know it is often difficult, if not impossible, trying to meet everyone's idea of a perfect holiday. Some want to do nothing more than sunbathe, some want to play in the pool all day, some want to prepare and cook up a storm without being stuck in the kitchen and then there are those who want to be active. We think Villa Citrus helps keep everyone happy.
Villa Citrus has various terraces and plenty of sun loungers to build up that tan. There is the beautiful pool and for smaller ones, a separate safe tiled paddling pool. The covered barbecue is the ultimate outside kitchen which is open to the pool and pool terraces but with drinks fridge, bar, sink, preparation surfaces and huge dining table; think the Mayfair of Robinson Crusoe pads. And then there is the new games room, accessible from the pool terrace, complete with pool table, table football and darts. The holiday competitions are legendary amongst the man cave connoisseurs.
The villa is so fabled for it's established fruit trees and at certain times of the year, oranges, lemons, grapefruits and avocado can be harvested straight to your plate. The remainder of the lush gardens are organised into beds and winding paths which we've found to be highly conducive to treasure hunts or hide and seek.
The previous owners were very creative and we have retained the original ceramic artworks; most notably behind the paddling pool and in one of the master en-suite bathrooms.
The views across the countryside are so relaxing; particularly from either the top terrace, dining room or sitting room. Complete the day by falling asleep in one of our English sized beds, this the centrepiece of your themed bedroom - Venetian, Indian, Dutch or Oriental.
